I don't buy bread super often because its too much for the two of us to actually consume an entire loaf before it goes stale. I just about never buy white bread either..
However, I came across this Barowsky's organic white sliced bread at Shaws in Worcester this week marked "Vegan-Friendly" and bought a loaf. It is tasty and free of high fructose corn syrup, which is pretty hard to find these days. I was definitely impressed and happy to see that "veg-friendly" is catching on.
Not only do they have a lot of vegan products and this vegan-friendly bread at Shaws, they also carry Chocolate Dream bars in their Wild Harvest section. If you haven't tried one of these yet, go grab one. All of the varieties are vegan, and their Rice Crunch tastes just like non-veg chocolate.

Vegan Fruit Snacks
I grabbed a box of these Clif Kid Organic Twisted Fruit ropes at Shaws (in the Wild Harvest section) last week and they are really yummy and tangy! It made me want to mention a few other fruit snacks that are vegan friendly, easy to pack in kid's lunches or stash in your purse. Try Fruitabu fruit roll ups, Stretch Island fruit strips, Annie's Fruit Snacks, or Tasty Organic Fruit Snacks. They're all flavorful, a great alternative to the typical gelatin-based and artificially flavored fruit snacks. If you've got a dehydrator (I have an Excalibur and its awesome,) you can even make your own raw vegan dried fruit snacks.
